Malmo Wedding Photographer Sweden - Love Session - Anna Maria + Anders
Bröllop Malmö - Malmo Wedding Photographer
Anna Maria and Anders are both from Sweden, and living in Malmö. I've got to known Anna Maria through photography, as she is a wedding photographer too. We met at a wedding photography conference called Way Up North held in Stockholm. It is a really great conference with some of the best people from the wedding photography industry, presenting some of their own approach, experience, vision and thoughts on weddings. Plus there are around three hundred attendees so you have the chance to talk to fellow photographers from all over the world. Visit Anna Maria's site here for beautiful images: amliljestrand.se And Anders has a cool iOS app called - Beer With Me. I went to visit them at the end of February to shoot a session for them. The location we chose was a nearby beach called Skanör-Falsterbo, a short drive from the centre of Malmö. It is a perfect setting with the sea in the background and with the colourful beach huts on the other side. These are privately owned little houses, really quite a unique sight. It was freezing cold on the day but Anna Maria braved the minuses in a really thin dress and it was well worth it. We had amazing smooth light throughout the afternoon and we ended up with some lovely shots of them. Overall a great day out..
Dates are limited for the upcoming wedding season so if you are in the process of planning your wedding in Malmo or anywhere else in Sweden, do get in touch soon. I’d love to be your Malmo wedding photographer.

Olive Gardens Wedding Photography Mdina, Malta
Olive Gardens Wedding Photography | Rachael & Andris
When Rachael reached out to tell me they were planning their wedding at Olive Gardens in Mdina and wanted me as their photographer, I was absolutely thrilled—for several reasons.
First, as a destination wedding photographer, traveling to capture a couple’s love story in a breathtaking location is not only exciting but a true honor.
Second, I love Malta. My wife is Maltese, and though we live in Budapest, we spend a lot of time there. I know hidden gems and scenic spots beyond the usual tourist paths, which allowed me to suggest stunning locations for Rachael and Andris.
Now, you might wonder—how did an Irish bride and a Latvian groom, living in Australia, end up choosing Malta for their wedding?
Simple—they love to travel and wanted a location with beautiful weather that was closer to their families than Australia. Their wedding day at Olive Gardens in Mdina was nothing short of spectacular. This stunning venue offers panoramic views of Mdina, which is especially breathtaking at night when the city is illuminated. If you’re searching for a magical wedding venue in Malta, this one should be on your list!
Despite a heavy downpour, a few adjustments to the schedule only added to the excitement of their memorable day. And since we had already planned for a post-wedding shoot, the following day, we set off to one of Malta’s most breathtaking coastal locations—Mtahleb. The dramatic cliffs and endless sea views created the perfect backdrop for timeless sunset portraits.
If you’re planning a wedding at Olive Gardens or anywhere in Malta—or even beyond—reach out! I’d love to be part of your journey.
2015 in review - Hungary Wedding Photographer

What an unbelievable year 2015 has been. On so many levels this has been my best year yet. As a Budapest Wedding Photographer I feel honoured that I was asked to photograph couples in love all around Europe. Wedding photography took me to Cornwall, Malta, Gozo, Paros and Stockholm and I had a handful of weddings in some beautiful parts in Hungary and in Budapest. 2016 looks to be similar already, and I can't wait to document more stories, and a big Thank You to all the couples who trusted me with my vision.
Engagement Photographer Budapest – Capturing Love in the City’s Most Romantic Spots
Timeless Love in Budapest – Engagement Photography with Iconic City Views
When it comes to engagement photography, Budapest is a dream destination. With its romantic architecture, breathtaking panoramas, and charming streets, this city offers endless backdrops for timeless love stories. From the historic Buda Castle District and the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion to the grand 19th-century buildings lining the city center, every corner of Budapest tells a story. Whether it’s hidden gardens, vibrant ruin bars, or scenic riverfront views, this city is an absolute joy to explore—and an even better place to capture engagement photos.
That’s exactly what I did with Howard and Vi, a wonderful couple who flew in all the way from the United States. We met in the late afternoon, just as the light turned soft and golden—my favorite time of day for a photoshoot. As we wandered through Budapest, they not only had their engagement portraits taken but also enjoyed a mini city tour, experiencing the beauty of both sides of the Danube.
In just an hour to an hour and a half, you can explore multiple breathtaking locations, creating a stunning collection of engagement photos in Budapest while soaking in the magic of the city.
