Corinthia Hotel Budapest Wedding

Jane and Mathias came from Germany to have their Corinthia Hotel Budapest Wedding.

Corinthia Budapest is such a special wedding location in Budapest. The hotel, originally named The Grand Hotel Royal has an over 100 year old history. Some great times and some tragic ones happened over the years.

The hotel suffered most under WWII and even the time after that. Renovations were ongoing the years after but they were mainly unsuccessful. Corinthia renovated finally and maintained and re did most of the original features and they reopened the hotel in 2003.

Jane and Mathias organised their Jewish Wedding in Budapest and it was also a winter wedding as they had their big day at the end of December. Corinthia traditionally have a big Christmas tree on the grand staircase and it made the atmosphere even warmer. As you walk up the stairs in the middle of the main foyer you get to the Grand Ballroom, where the wedding reception was held. The Grand Ballroom is an amazingly beautiful hall, classic, stylish and just perfect for a big wedding party.
