Corinthia Hotel Budapest Wedding
Jane and Mathias traveled from Germany to celebrate their wedding at the iconic Corinthia Hotel Budapest, a venue rich in history and timeless elegance.
Originally known as The Grand Hotel Royal, Corinthia Budapest has stood for over a century, witnessing both moments of grandeur and times of hardship. The hotel suffered significant damage during World War II and the years that followed, with multiple restoration attempts falling short. Finally, in 2003, Corinthia meticulously restored the building, preserving its original architectural beauty while bringing it back to life as one of Budapest’s most stunning wedding venues.
Their wedding was not only a Jewish celebration, but also a magical winter wedding, taking place in late December. The hotel’s traditional grand Christmas tree, standing tall on the majestic staircase, added an extra layer of warmth and festivity to their special day.
As guests ascended the sweeping grand staircase, they arrived at the Grand Ballroom, where the wedding reception took place. Classic, stylish, and breathtakingly elegant, the ballroom provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening filled with love, laughter, and celebration.
It was a wedding that beautifully combined history, romance, and timeless charm—a day to remember at one of Budapest’s most extraordinary venues.
